Well known is that progeny of Kush (see Genesis 10) settled in northeastern Africa, the Land of Kush, south of Misraim, and too in the mountains far to the east called the Hindu Kush, at the eastern end of which is Kashmir. In the Tarim basin of western China are the rivers Kashgar, Yunung-Kash, and Kara-Kash, Kush’s territory too, yet all of his people, including those of the ice age Indus Valley Civilization, adopted Indo European (japhetic) language known as Sanskrit in India and Turkic (Tocharian/Uyghur) in the Tarim basin which during the Ice Age was verdant and a big source of jade.
