The Good News of Jesus Christ, the long prophesied Conqueror of death, would make no sense if death has been ongoing for billions or even millions of years, because there is creation’s redemption in the near future, along with the redemption now available only by Spirit for humans (pets could end-up in heaven), those embracing Him who preach redemption in this fallen world, only about 6,000 years old.
