Suppose the Republicans increase their majorities in both houses of Congress by a big Red Wave in the November midterms, then which of the Democrat hopefuls for president do you suppose would be the first to announce his/her candidacy? The odds would seem to be better that a less-old candidate would announce first, maybe Spartacus Booker or Kamala Harris. because they perhaps could bounce-back after being crushed by Trump in 2020 while the oldsters would hate to go-out that way.
