Seeing economic opportunities blossoming now for blacks by president Trump’s agenda, many harken back to Kanye West’s admonition for blacks to leave the Democrat party which opposed the civil rights movement fifty years ago and today opposes economic freedom for blacks by seeking to impose more onerous regulations and high taxes. Wages were stagnant under Obama’s administration, now rising thanks to Republican legislation and Trump’s executive actions, so don’t be surprised if many blacks, perhaps 40% in the November midterms, vote for the Republican candidates to message that the days of the plantation are over, following the lead of Martin Luther King who was a Republican.
