Some of the establishment talking heads are saying the purported bevy of resist-Trump-people within the White House are not Deep State because career bureaucrats are generally considered to be of that pedigree rather than the political appointees within the White House, but that doesn’t make the sin less egregious, actually more so, because the political appointees are assumed onboard with the president’s agenda rather than Trojan Horses self-tasked to do damage.
