Despite opposition from the Democrats, sixty years ago, the civil rights legislation nevertheless was passed, equal rights for all “races,” but in the aftermath of that, the Democrats who were riddled with guilt about their racism enacted such as the Great Society program and affirmative action to try to show that they really aren’t racists. The gap between the incomes of blacks and whites was less in the 1950’s than today, showing the Democrats’ acts of penance for their racist sins actually ended-up hurting those whom they claim to want to help, it’s time to get past all that.
