As head of the executive branch, the law enforcement branch of the federal government, president Trump could appoint another special counsel, one to investigate ObamaGate, to do the work which Mueller assiduously avoids because Mueller is an ObamaGate conspirator. Mueller could be allowed to continue with his witch hunt while the real work to detect and punish election meddling (ObamaGate) would be carried-out by the new special counsel, working simultaneously, with Sessions and Rosenstein free to stay and watch or leave.
