Considering it’s almost inconceivable that the Democrats in 2020 will nominate for president a man or woman opposed to open borders and re-raising taxes, therefore, maybe half of the Democrat party already is tempted to vote for Trump in 2020 (and the Republican candidates this fall who support his agenda), so who among the “progressives” of the Democrat party elite will dare to step forward, to face Trump having maybe half of the Democrat party on his side?
