In saying nationalism inspires tribalism within the U. S., the NYT’s daft writer Frank Bruni is purposefully neglecting that the United States is a melting pot of many “tribes” from all over the world come in union as U. S. citizens. Of course Bruni is clumsily implying that nationalism means white nationalism, but if that were true, the content of the melting pot would be fully white, right?
