Facebook cannot say who has created the fake accounts meant to cause havoc in the body politic of the U. S., so of course the fake accounts could be by domestic actors masquerading as foreigners as well as perhaps by some Russians, Chinese, and/or Iranians, yet this all will cause the U. S. voters to be careful and double-check what they read, which of course will cause many more voters to be informed ones.
