Nobody including president Trump wants a long government shutdown beginning on September 30th, particularly the Democrats who know Trump’s Four Pillars Plan on immigration is a political winner going into the midterm elections in early November, so it seems likely that the Democrats will ok more funding for the wall and the end to the visa lottery, which Trump would probably accept anticipating more Republican help in Congress after the midterms to legislate the rest of his Four Pillars Plan.
