S. senator Ted Cruz of Texas was the other representative of the Tea Party movement (constitutional nationalism) in the 2016 presidential race, so he’s hated almost as much as is Trump, and predictably therefore, Cruz’s challenger Beto O’Rourke is receiving big bucks from the coastal elites, wasted money apparently because Cruz holds a 9 point lead in recent polling; bad betting on Beto.
