Jesus the Messiah was crucified on the Jewish Feast of Passover, in the tomb the next day the Feast of Unleavened Bread, then resurrected on the Feast of First Fruits, on the third day. The great outpouring of Holy Spirit occurred during the Feast of Pentecost, the last of the spring feasts, and now prophetically we are approaching the fall, when the rapture of the congregation of born again believers will happen, followed by the Day of Atonement (the Tribulation period), followed by the Feast of Tabernacles, when Jesus Christ will reign on earth for a thousand years, after Armageddon. The “former rain” of Holy Spirit is being followed by the “latter rain,” the last of the spring rains in Israel around the time of Pentecost, and the beginning of the fall rains around the time of the Feast of Trumpets.
