Obelisks are four-sided columns which taper to a point at the top, like a meat spit, anciently often towers, but as four-sided structures tapering at the top, pyramids too, and probably the Tower of Babel, like the Great Pyramid of Giza, pointing to the stars directly above, like a compass leg, hence the occult’s “as it is above so it is below,” astrology as it were, worshipping the creation rather than the Creator.
