Establishment types such as the recently vanquished Mark Sanford are bemoaning that the Republican party has been taken-over by “Trumpism,” yet what the president espouses is simple constitutional nationalism, that which the Tea Party has been promoting since 2010, much to the screaming chagrin of the establishment types who prefer the U. S. with a diminished role on the world stage in their scheme for global socialism. So when Trump’s service as president will be over, another leader will step forward, perhaps not as charismatic and aggressive, but a constitutional nationalist nonetheless.
