President Trump is set to allow the government to shutdown (in limited fashion the norm) if Congress fails to legislate the money needed for the border wall, the continuing resolution for the budget up in September, two months before the 2018 midterm election, so the pressure is on the Democrats and establishment Republicans to decide whether to work with the president or be branded open borders globalists trying to destroy the U. S. going into the midterms.
