In lieu of answering such as Jonathan Karl’s question today about whether he will pardon Michael Cohen by saying “that’s a stupid stupid question,” president Trump could respond saying that it depends, of course, asking the establishment media types under what circumstance would it be appropriate? Trump could say this is an intellectual exercise for them, to wonder what in the world could be a reason (Obamagate) to pardon Cohen (and the others)?
