On the northern coast of Oman, just south of the Strait of Hormuz, is the ancient copper mining district of Sohar (originally known as Omana), which during the Ice Age was known as Magan written about in Sumerian texts, so considering the ruins of stone buildings found in the Persian Gulf at over sixty sites, shouldn’t ruins of ice age Magan be found now submerged where the Shatt al Arab river emptied into the ocean during the Ice Age?
