In Zechariah 14 of the Old Testament are prophecies about the unimaginable destruction prophesied in New Testament in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, in Zechariah 14 that the Messiah will come and stand on the Mount of Olives then split by earthquake to defeat the nations of the world arrayed against Israel, when the Judaists remaining will flee to Petra for protection, later to realize that Jesus Christ indeed is the long awaited Messiah. It would have been reasonable for the Judaists throughout the centuries to have realized that the millennial reign of the Messiah (also described in Zechariah 14) would be after six thousand years, considering that to Elohim, “a day is as a thousand years.”
