Interestingly, because Rod Rosenstein signed-off on at least one FISA warrant predicated on the Golden Shower Dossier from Team Hillary through Christopher Steele of Fusion GPS, so Rosenstein will be a witness in the upcoming ObamaGate investigation and therefore must recuse himself from naming the new special counsel for that, or perhaps he’ll feel compelled to resign, in which case president Trump could seek confirmation in the Senate for a new deputy attorney general amenable to the investigation, and then if that would fail, just name Scott Pruitt to move over from the EPA. Whether to open the ObamaGate special counsel will be a big 2018 midterm issue, a winner for the Republicans for sure.
