Without the knowledge (or the admittance) that the Ice Age ended circa 1500 b. c., the uniformitarians are baffled that the “late bronze age” was the wealthiest time in ancient history yet the “early iron age” which immediately followed saw far fewer population centers due to scarcity, warfare, and migration.
