Having taken time-off for Christmas, still continuing into the New Year, Joe Scarborough and Mika “have the flu” today, so that means another week off? Even the Ed McMahon of the show, Willie Geist, was a no-show today, it could be more than just the flu plaguing the Morning Joe crew. They had been facing the reality that president Trump isn’t going down any-time-soon and in-fact is gaining strength, hard for them to swallow, so they’re probably just mourning like they would any other great emotional loss.
