If there really is evidence that enough fraudulent votes were cast to throw the victory to Democrat Doug Jones in Alabama, and therefore that Roy Moore is right in protesting the election result, then president Trump is faced with the decision to investigate Moore’s claims which are in-line with what Trump has said about his election and others, or set Moore adrift to fend for himself. An election do-over having shown cheating against Moore, plus the spreading knowledge that Moore’s accusers were politically motivated (proven by their late arrival), could prove to be an easy Moore victory.
