Jesus (Yehoshua) was raised in Nazareth, part of current Israel proper, yet its Muslim mayor Ali Salam has declared Christmas illegal there, meant to torment Christians who support Trump’s moving the U. S. embassy from Tel Aviv to jerusalem. Of course the baby Jesus came into the world during the Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot, in the fall, what observant Christians these days call Fest Emmanuel. (Update: mayor Salam now says the festivities will happen, without three of the singers for some reason.)
