The Supreme Court of Alabama on Monday overturned the ruling of a Montgomery County circuit judge so that the destruction of the digital voting records of the Roy Moore vs. Doug Jones senatorial election could proceed after the election on Tuesday, causing everybody to wonder why those records should be destroyed. This suspicious ruling alone should force a recount using the paper ballots, which ostensibly have not been tampered with, yet considering that they are destroying the digital record, what would prevent them from culling Moore votes from the paper ballot total?
