Roy Moore wasn’t out much during the final week of the campaign, certainly strange, causing many to wonder if he decided that he really wanted to lose facing what would have been ahead of him in Congress and what his family has already endured and would continue to have to endure had he won. President Trump takes a hit by the election of Doug Jones, but at least he won’t have to defend Roy Moore, the slate now clean for Trump and Team Tea Party to continue the good fight.
