Threatened by the withholding of poverty food relief from the government, rural folks in China are taking down their depictions of Jesus Christ, replacing the cherished pieces with pictures of Xi Jingping. There are at least as many Christians as members of the Communist Party in China, particularly in the south, so Xi is just doing what he can, quite pathetic.
