Once you get past the hurdle that Noah’s Flood didn’t cover the current mountain ranges (because they rose at the close of the Flood), the only hurdle remaining is from where did all the water originate, so when you realize that the mantle of the earth contains much water (pressurized and hot), the geologic record really does fit the catastrophic model.
