If the zanies in California really do try to become an independent nation chock-full of immigrants from Mexico, they can expect the U. S. to wall off their eastern and northern borders, their southern border of course presumably to stay open to welcome all the new immigrants who ostensibly will make it a wonderful nation of rich diversity and great productivity. So would California continue embracing millions of low skilled immigrants to build their new nation, or would they start emulating president Trump by adopting merit-based immigration?
