During the time of the European explorers, five hundred years ago in South America, the land of Brazil was named for a legendary land which had been founded by the Danaan king Breas circa 1700 b. c., seen on the Dulcert Portolano (one of the fascinating Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings), but never found by the European navigators, because “Hy Brasil” has been submerged (now called the Porcupine Bank), four hundred miles south of Britain in the Atlantic, since the Ice Age ended circa 1500 b. c.
