Still expecting the Messiah, but not Jesus returning, the Judaists count this the year 5,778 from the six days of creation, so their expectation of the Messiah’s soon arrival cannot be for that He would come after six thousand years (because the Word says a day to Elohim is as a thousand years). The reality is that the Seder Olam Rabbah, written by Judaists about three centuries after the Resurrection of Jesus, compressed the inter testament period by over two hundred years so the Daniel 9 prophecy for the time that the Messiah would be executed (then resurrected) is thrown forward to the timeframe that the Seder Olam Rabbah was written, yet no Messiah came then!
