If president Trump actually is as unpopular as the leftist talking-heads are saying, then why are the purple-tie Republicans either announcing their retirement or beginning to work (begrudgingly) with Trump on achieving his Tea Party policy goals? President Trump would easily defeat any Democrat challenger if a national presidential election were held tomorrow, perhaps 55% to 45%, so the fully shaken Democrats certainly have much work to do.
