Political division is not by “divisiveness” rather by differing political philosophies competing in the marketplace of ideas, successful persuasion the arbiter of which side wins, so these days judging persuasiveness involves deciding which side produces the most fake news and which side promotes nationalism by the Constitution, the other globalism by usurpation of the Constitution.
