In the professional sports business, it’s unwise to alienate over half of your fans, the current plight of the NFL owners, so what did they expect in siding with Black Lives Matter funded by George Soros in support of the players kneeling for the national anthem? Culturally tone-deaf, the owners though are changing, but only in response to the empty seats in the stadiums and low TV ratings, not out of a sense of patriotism, this the fans understand, not impressed, so the NFL need be pro-active by either adopting a policy of political neutrality or by making overtures to salve the anger which the owners have caused to rage through millions of Tea Party type football fans.
