Kin, kind, and kindle (a fire) are all of the same indo european (japhetic) etymological root, meaning to birth or begin, such as the human kind begun with Adam and Eve, and the fire then begun used for metallurgy, cooking, and ritual, genetic related to kinetic by language. Of course the indo european languages came forth by the confusion of language (the manifestation of dozens of new ones) at the Tower of Babel, almost two thousand years after the fall in the Garden of Eden, yet the kinship of the beginning of humankind with the harnessing of fire is shown in kind’s etymology.
