Although the base of the Democrat party would call it caving, the congressional Democrats, particularly those seeking reelection in states which Trump won in 2016, would do themselves a favor to cooperate with president Trump now on legislation rather than have to face the full fury of the Tea Party with their candidates in the 2018 midterms elections.
