South Korea already conducts over a hundred billion dollars worth of business transactions per year with China, and North Korea perhaps that much though unknown, so if the two Koreas would unify, not much except probably rapid GNP growth for where had been the territory of North Korea would ensue, thus to eliminate China’s fears of mass migration out of failing North Korea, and stop the aggressive threatening and nuclear testing by Kim Jong-Un of steadily declining North Korea. Perhaps the U. S. in exchange for a united Korea would agree to move the military off the peninsula, to buildup presence in Japan, to be able to counter any move China might make to take all of the United Korea.
