If a president’s Secretary of State is at odds with him/her on several issues of great importance, not only privately but publicly too, it’s time for the Secretary to leave, in this case Rex Tillerson who seems not much in synchrony with president Trump, sending mixed messages, which may have served Trump’s purposes, but now probably not worth the maintenance. Mike Pompeo would be great as Secretary of State, and for CIA, it’s hard to say, but surely there are white-hats available eager to take the job.
