They called him No Wall McCaul for the obvious reason, but now the Republican Texas congressman Mike McCaul, sensing 2018 reelection vulnerability, has sponsored a bill which passed a homeland security committee vote to go to the floor of the House, this bill providing $10 billion for border wall funding, 5,000 new border agents, and reimbursement earmarked for states which will help with with border security by deployment of their National Guards.
