Maps by Oronteus Finaeus and Piri Reis maps showing Antarctica were drawn from ancient source maps, the ancient navigators who obviously were there having precisely drawn the outline of Antarctica in amazing detail, yet the size of that continent is exaggerated on these two medieval compilations of source maps drawn anciently, pieced together by medieval navigators who had never been there so knew the outline of the continent but not its actual size. That the mountains of Antarctica are shown on the Oronteus Fineaus map proves that the ancient navigators were there early in the Ice Age, before the ice age snowfall had covered those mountain ranges now completely covered by snow and ice.
