A foundation was begun years ago, Assata’s Daughters, in the name of Black Liberation Army member Assata Shakur, who murdered police officer Werner Foerster and then escaped prison to flee to Cuba with the assistance of other members of the BLA. Nefarious Assata’s Daughters, back in April, received a $25,000 donation from Colin Kaepernick’s foundation, so those players wanting to kneel for the national anthem following Kaepernick’s lead should reconsider whom they follow.
