Whether to take the mantle of the Tea Party out of the hands of Ted Cruz by calling the movement grassroots populism or in calling it that instead to remove the conservative stigma of Tea Party, then-candidate and now-president Trump is the namesake of the movement to some, Trumpism, but it won’t apply unless the president holds true to the Tea Party insistence on nationalism by the Constitution.
