President Trump seemed hard-pressed to give good reasons to vote for Luther Strange at the big rally tonight in Huntsville, one supposedly good reason, that Strange didn’t ask for a dinner or photo session or picnic for his family with Trump in order for the president to have gotten Strange’s support for the previous Republican healthcare bill, and another that Strange would certainly beat the Democrat in the general election while it’s not certain that Roy Moore would, yet from the weak enthusiasm shown for Strange tonight at the rally, despite Trump’s presence, the enthusiasm for Roy Moore would more than offset any increase of Democrat enthusiasm against the conservative Moore, plus many Democrats in Alabama would take Moore over the Democrat in order to further the nationalistic agenda.
