We can only estimate the amount of heating of the world ocean by seafloor volcanism (through the mid oceanic rift zones and thousands of volcanic vents), but we do know that it’s magnitudes greater than what a degree or two of atmospheric heating produces, so everyone saying there is climate change but not by manmade causes really need to start talking about oceanic heating from below, which not even the opponents of climate-change alarmism have emphasized or talked about really at all.
