If you had told Ohio State Buckeye head football coach Urban Meyer before the game last night that OU quarterback Baker Mayfield would connect on 27 of 35 passes for 386 yards and 3 touchdowns, Meyer probably would have told you it’s gonna be a long night for the Buckeyes, and that’s what happened, with many true freshmen for the Sooners coming through in that big early season game on Ohio State’s home turf, made more bitter for OSU seeing Mayfield plant the OU flag in the heart of the Buckeyes’ logo the “Block O” in the middle of the field after the game, ouch!
