The uniformitarians have long been saying that the Ice Age ended circa 10000 b. c., so during the last few decades, the realization that ancient civilizations built long after 10000 b. c. were abandoned by desertification has caused the uniformitarians to say that a rainy period began when the Ice Age ended, irrational of course, because more clouds for the Ice Age meant more clouds in the middle latitudes and lower elevations too, unless you want to believe that the clouds for the Ice Age were walled off!
