If Hurricane Harvey would end up doing more damage than it appears so far, the global warming alarmists will cite extensive beach erosion caused by the hurricane as evidence that the sea level is rising, similar to their absurd notion that the ruins of stone buildings found on the shallow seafloor are there because of tsunamis (which though of course recede) long ago, blissfully ignoring that it was the end of the Ice Age circa 1500 b. c. which caused the sea level to rise (and stay there).
