The irony is rich in that the uniformitarians say Noah’s Flood is a myth but in the same breath that the ocean rose up on the continents dozens of times to have caused the various ages of sedimentary layers. And most of those layers were laid down before the great mountain orogenies, so why wouldn’t have some of those supposedly dozens of floods have actually covered the whole earth anyway? Consider too that the layers are usually stacked like pancakes, often grading into each other, with billions of creatures (mostly marine) entombed therein (fossils), so Noah’s Flood fills the bill, really just a breath away for the uniformitarians to admit in a spasm of lucidity.
