While it may be true that candidates who finish first in voting but are forced into a runoff (because he/she didn’t get 50% of the votes) usually end up winning in the runoff, the Red State “conservative” blog’s saying this will hold true if Luther Strange finishes ahead in today’s voting in Alabama is certainly wishful thinking considering that perhaps 75% of the voters for Mo Brooks today would end-up voting for Roy Moore over Strange in a runoff.
