Ted Cruz would tell you “told you so” about Mitch McConnell’s epic failure as supposed facilitator of the Republican agenda, so now with president Trump saying McConnell should get with the program or be shown the door, perhaps senator Mike Lee or Cruz himself could become the majority party leader in the Senate, assuming the other republican senators will want to get along with president Trump and his formidable supporters rather than battle against him.
